Firstly, congratulations on your engagement, and a thank you for considering me to be your wedding florist, I will need some info from you, your colours, your style of wedding flowers, do you want classic, modern, rustic, wild or loads of foliage? There are so many choices, but please don’t worry, I am here to help and advise and if you have any inspiration photos for me to go on then I can then picture the style and design you have in mind, this then helps me to select the right flowers and foliage just for you.
If you would like to know more about how I can be your wedding florist, please fill out the enquiry form, this will give me all the details to provide you with a proposal of ideas for you’re your Big Day! We can then meet to discuss these ideas, and chat the finer details, and we’ll have fun ‘tweaking’ your dreams into fabulous florals, and looking gorgeous!
To create your proposal I begin with calculating how many of each flower and foliage is required, all flowers come in bunches of 10, 20 and 50, sometimes larger like 100! This means that I need to share all the flowers out over your arrangements to work out how many of each I need, so please give me as much info as you can with regards to how many bridesmaids you are having, how many guest table arrangements and if you need any larger displays.
Your proposal will be a detailed description of all the flowers and foliages that I suggest, with photos, so you are not googling what a freesia looks like! If you are happy with these ideas then a non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your date. I will then pop you in my wedding diary!
The Big Day is arriving soon…
As your day gets closer, there may be additional changes, you may need an extra buttonhole or two, or may need one less guest table arrangement, this is all normal, just let me know and I will update your order. I am happy to answer any of your questions, and I’m here to make the planning of your florals easy and stress free.
I will send your invoice approx 6 weeks before the big day, and this is payable in full approx 3 weeks before your wedding, this is when I get to order all your flowers,
I will personally order all your flowers, collect them from the flower market, and design the most perfect flowers for you.
On the Day…
Your wedding day has arrived, I will have been up early adding the ribbon to your bouquet and bridesmaid flowers, popping on the name tags on the buttonholes (so everyone gets the correct one, which is one less worry for you think about!) All flowers will be packaged, so nothing gets bruised. We will have arranged a time for me to arrive with your flowers, either at a home address or at the venue;
I usually arrive before the mascara goes on from your Make up Artist, so that no panda eyes are made! I will then give you and your bridesmaids a little lesson on how to hold your bouquet correctly and will ensure that the buttonholes and corsages are all labelled so that everyone gets the correct one. I will then dress the venue with your ceremony and guest table flowers, and everything will look just so magical as you see it for the first time!
I always like to see the professional photos, so please send me a few, it’s always nice to see how gorgeous everything looks through a professional lens!
